Valentine’s Day Wine is the Wine for the Weekend of 2/14/20. Two wines come to mind for today. Sparkling wine is appropriate for couples celebrating their love. Champagne is the nicest, but any sparkling wine works well. And, cabernet sauvignon is the perfect red for today. It is the best red wine that goes with chocolate. Chocolate seems to intensify the berry flavors of cabernet sauvignon. Note that merlot clashes with chocolate, because it has a fatty characteristic.

Wines

Korbel Brut is a great sparkling wine that is affordable for most people. That is why I recommend it. If you can afford a better one, then go for it. Louis Martini Napa Cabernet Sauvignon is a wonderful example of the grape. And, it is affordable for most. And, if you can afford more, I still recommend you try it. Everybody enjoy your day and weekend!
